Support our Teachers

Teachers are the heart of the CDA and deserve much of the credit for student achievements. We could not accomplish our mission goals without them. Though we honor our teachers through praise and recognition, we strongly believe that their compensation should reflect their valuable contribution.

To ensure that the CDA can retain its current staff, attract the best candidates for job openings, and ensure consistent delivery of the highest quality program, the CDA Board of Directors and leadership team made a bold decision this spring to substantially increase our teacher salaries.

In a field well-known for underpaying for such a vitally important service, the CDA believes it is important that teachers be paid a competitive and professional wage.
